This page explains what data Mindix processes, which third-party services we use to run the product, and why.
This page is only available in English. The English version is the legally binding one.
Data controller

Overview
To provide the Mindix service we rely on a small number of specialized third-party providers. Each of them processes a specific slice of your data, described below.
Clerk — Authentication
We use Clerk to handle account creation, sign-in, and session management. Clerk processes your email address, authentication credentials (or your Google account identifier, if you sign in with Google), and technical session data (e.g. login timestamps, device/browser information). This data is used solely to let you securely create an account and access Mindix.
Neon — Database (EU / Frankfurt)
Our application database is hosted by Neon in the EU (Frankfurt) region. It stores your account profile, learner profile (role, goal, study time), your answers and lesson progress, your streak and review schedule, and any lesson reports you submit. It does not store the lessons themselves: those are written in advance and ship with the application. This is the core data store that makes the product function.
Vercel — Hosting
Mindix is hosted on Vercel, which serves the application and processes standard request data (such as your IP address and request logs) as part of running the infrastructure, including for security and performance purposes.
Resend — Reminder emails
If you leave reminder emails switched on, your email address is passed to Resend to deliver them. At most one a day, only when something is actually due for review, and never at all once you switch them off in Settings.
Lemon Squeezy — Payments
Subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment details and billing information. Those details never reach our servers: we receive only the fact that a subscription started, renewed or ended.
PostHog — Analytics (EU region)
We use PostHog (EU-hosted instance) to understand how Mindix is used — for example, when a lesson is finished or a daily goal is cleared. This helps us find and fix problems and improve the product. Analytics events are tied to your internal user ID, not directly to your name.
Push notifications
Only if you switch streak notifications on in Settings, your device's push address and its encryption keys are stored with your account so we can send at most one reminder a day. They are delivered through your browser or phone vendor's push service (for example Google). Switching notifications off, or deleting your account, removes them.
Visitor counts
Without an account, we count only how many browsers arrived on a given day and how many reached steps such as opening or finishing the free lesson. To tell a new browser from a returning one, a cookie named mindix-seen stores the date of the last visit and nothing else. These counts carry no identifier, IP address or page history and cannot be linked to a person.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at yaroslav102201@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Data retention
We retain your account and course data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time — open Settings and choose Delete account; it is removed immediately and permanently. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
